The following Soft Skills courses are specifically
designed to meet the needs of the client group. These Soft Skills are normally
1 day, but can be split into 2 half days depending on the clients needs.
Each Soft Skills course is £350 per day and is based on a maximum
of 15 delegates being in attendance.

courses:
Citizenship
The aim of this course is to empower individuals with the understanding
of their rights and responsibilities as UK citizens, the role of the government
and how decisions are made within the community and society.
Values & Beliefs
In modern Britain we are becoming a multi-national society, with this
in mind this course has been designed to help gain an understanding of
what values and beliefs are and how they influence our lives & communities.
Team Building
"United we stand, divided we fall". This course is designed
to show you the importance of the previous statement by showing you how
every team member contributes to making an effective team, which leads
to a successful business and job security.
Independent Living
This course is aimed at those who are thinking of taking the next step
in life of living independently in their own home; and is designed to
help you to develop the skills need in running your own home. For example:
cleaning, maintenance and how to deal with household emergencies.
Money Management
Money management affects everyone. On this course we will explain, help
you research and analyse the various elements of money management by understanding
what is a fair wage, taxation and its effects, the advantages and disadvantages
of obtaining credit and the importance of budgeting.
Health & Nutrition
Well being should be the forefront of everyone's life. Through this course
you will learn the benefits of having a balanced diet and lifestyle by
analysing the effects of health & nutrition on the body.
Personal Presentation
The purpose of this course is to show why people need to have good personal
hygiene & appearance, how it affects not just us but how other people
view us; how to deal with problems such as toothache, physical problems
and symptoms. (This is ideal for interview preparation).
Time Management
This course helps individuals to understand where they might be going
wrong with their time management. It focuses on five main areas: goal
setting and planning, time principles, procrastination, assertiveness,
and coping with stress.
Disability Awareness Training
The Disability Rights Commission (DRC) recommends adopting a strategy
for improving service delivery to disabled customers. It should establish
your business aspirations in relation to disabled customers. This training
therefore is a must for all organisations to enable all managers and customer
focused colleagues to have confidence in dealing with disability issues
and competence in maintaining the highest standards of quality being available
to all.
