This course looks at utilising delegation
and coaching as specific tools to enhance employee engagement,
improve individual/group capability and provide succession
planning.
Aims
After you complete this training, you will be
able to:
- Explain
how responsibility and authority are related to
delegation.
- Identify
barriers to effective delegation.
- Develop
a plan for delegating tasks.
- Develop
an action plan to remove barriers to effective
delegation.
- Describe
the importance of coaching.
- Describe
3 coaching styles, and be able to select the most
appropriate coaching style for a given task.
- Identify
understand and be able to select the effective
coaching behaviors appropriate to each of the
3 coaching styles.
- Identify
opportunities for coaching.
