The event opening ceremony was carried out by the newly elected Mayor of Seaham, Councillor Brian Allen, seen here cutting the ribbon to inaugurate the Training Centre as "Open for Business" along with Malcolm McGeachey, the company founder and Course Director!

Guests from a number of companies and associated organisations were present and inside one of the training rooms Malcolm reviews the extensive YMS Training Course Prospectus with the Mayor and Sam Sowemimo from BE Enterprising who provided support for the new Training Centre.

During the event Malcolm thanked all those present saying: "I am very grateful for your support and good wishes we have received from the local Council, BE Enterprising and Eastlea Community Centre.

We can now progress to the next phase of growth for YMS Training - this new facility provides the ideal platform for us to deliver training courses not only to community groups and agencies but to further extend our training to companies and businesses throughout North East England. Our extensive and expanded portfolio of training courses are now available to all".

Malcolm added: "The commemorative plaque will remind us all of this most prestigious day and will be placed prominently so all of our visitors and trainees will see it when they arrive at our new Training Centre facilities here in Church Street - Seaham".
